Age Confirmation

Rent Ratchet is for adults only. This short page says what you confirm when you tick "I am 18 or older" at sign-up.

What you confirm

• You are at least 18 years old on the day you create your account.
• You will not let anyone under 18 use your account to list, request, lend or borrow a tool.

What we record

When you tick the box we record which version of this page you confirmed, the date and time, the network (IP) address and the browser description (user agent) the request came from, the same way we do for the Terms of Service and the Disclaimer.

What we do not do

We do not check identity documents and we do not verify anybody's age. We rely on what you tell us, and so does every other user. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may close it.
